‘Wise Men Still Seek Him’ watercolour with ink pens

This painting is another painted using Arches paper, smaller in size at ¼ Imperial Sheet and a limited palette.

I was inspired by a recent visit to Leeds Minster in Yorkshire where around the building the story of the Nativity was told. A very friendly, holy place to visit, well recommended.

It may just be the painting used to make my Christmas cards for this year. It was fun to make it into a landscape painting and add some pen work both before and after painting.
