One of my first paintings in soft pastels, of Neurosurgeon (now retired) Mr Philip Van Hille. Along with his team of surgeons and medics, his expertise and experience was an invaluable assistance, that God provided and used in order for the successful outcome from surgery I was given to remove a rare form of brain tumour. To me, it was a miracle that I did not have major facial or eye problems as a result, as happens to so many sufferers. I will be forever thankful to my Saviour, for this gentle giant (legend) of a man. I presented the painting to Mr Philip Van Hille as one of my ways to thank him personally for all his care.
