'Street Scene in Cyprus Village' is a watercolour 11" x 15" on Bockingford 200lb CP Paper with a limited palette, majority, Daniel Smith Paints. I was inspired to paint this from the warmth, light, shadows, and colours involved, to add cheer to some dreary days of late.

Apologies, if it seems rather chocolate box, nevertheless, it was fun to play with the colours and various aspects of the painting, especially as I gave my self the challenge of not using any masking fluid to keep some white areas. It was also a good exercise for me in shadow work and playing with warm colours, yellows especially.
