As promised in the latest newsletter, here is my latest watercolour painting, ‘Citroen Classic Car #2’. It was painted over a few sessions as I managed to set apart some time slots in our busy, very eventful life, subsequently being a joy to do as I always find it very therapeutic.
It’s not very often that I revisit the same subject/painting to do another version. However, with this classic car I decided to do just that, changing the size a little. I found it a challenge to paint the first time around, so it was good to see how my second version would turn out after several years have passed.
The painting measures 15” x 11” and is on stretched Moulin du Roy CP paper. Unlike the first painting, this one has a tiny border and it is painted using a slightly different palette which the viewer may find a little more interesting. Maybe you all agree, it has character too.
Thank you for looking, be blessed always.
