Now in the month of June, it is a busy time for most creatives, both inside and out. Having had the warmest May on record here in most of the UK, June, this far, is a mixed bag of wet, windy and chilly days along with short heatwaves.

I am happy to report that following the sketch here that I did after seeing Cindy Briggs paint a pen and watercolour wash sketch of some tulips and roses, I proceeded to paint Tropical Paradise Bouquet with purely watercolour in a larger format. Currently in the Latest Work Gallery before it is moved into the Flora and Fauna Gallery, please remember to double click to see the extra information on all paintings in the main galleries.

The pen and wash sketch is from my own resources and imagination and was a fun project to create, thanks to being inspired by Cindy. This led me to be motivated to make the purely watercolour version.
