Time flies by as life happens:

Suddenly, spring turns to summer heat for a few weeks and as I write, back to rainy days with chilly, almost wintry winds. As someone who loves to garden this is often a challenge, just like fitting in time to paint when everything else is happening too.

Nevertheless, it gives me joy this week, after almost a month of painting of a different kind, my art space was once again occupied. It’s not as if art ever disappears as we can see and think of new ways to draw and paint, being inspired by many ideas that come to mind. Always collecting reference materials, watching nature unfold, seeing artwork everywhere around is so inspiring. Please check out the painting in the Latest Work Gallery, 'Sunset in Venice' watercolour in the Memories of Italy Series #5.

I’m sure I draw and paint in my dreams although not always remembered. It is so good to capture memories, so I trust you too may be inspired to pick up a pen, pencil or paint, or just dream as you take photographs. As a favourite neurosurgeon, Ben Carson, stated in his books, ‘Think Big’ – ‘Take a Risk! Or, as the Bible states, ‘Have Faith’ it comes from God, without it we cannot please Him or expect any reward…. Food for thought.
