Making Painting Fun!

Welcome to summer here in England, everyone. I hope all is going well for you as the sun spreads its warmth and lights up faces with more smiles, rather than frowns.

Brits are renowned for their obsession with the changing weather, we moan when it is too cold, then we moan when it is too hot! We dislike the wind and rain, it seems too. I am thankful for all the different seasons experienced here, some more than others. Variety is good, hence the play piece shown here, ‘Safe, Happy Tapir’ inspired by our latest visit to the local zoo.

As I continue to learn, I keep experimenting with different aspects of painting, different tools, different techniques, different surfaces, different subjects/genres, it all makes life much more enjoyable and fun. I am not able to paint like anyone else, nor is anyone able to paint like me, God in His wisdom has made each one of us different. We are all uniquely loved and cherished by our Saviour God, including all the animals etc. whom God also preserves. Please see Psalm 36:6-7

Enjoy the season, what it may be for you, as it will soon change once more.
