Friends, I thank God for you.

It’s an exciting New Year for creatives, not least because after being on this wonderful journey into art since late 2012, this May ’26 sees me being represented in an International Watercolour Masters Exhibition as a rising star. It has taken 14yrs of disciplined focus learning, many times alone, sometimes with others, so to be recognised in this way is an honour. I am so thankful for all the divine connections with lovely artists who have impacted my life. (You can read about some in the History section).

Please check out the Links section to connect with IWM and buy tickets for the show. I believe, for lovers of watercolour it is where you will see the most paintings with opportunities to meet the artists, see demos and take part in workshops.

There are many galleries around the UK showing great artists this year. Be quick if you want to see JMW Turner and John Constable in the National Galleries as their 250 yrs Anniversary comes to an end in 2026.

My prayer for this year is the same as in 2024:

‘May Christ’s love, joy and peace permeate our hearts and minds this New Year, to see beauty in the world around us. May we concentrate on the good and not the bad, be kind to one another, giving help and inspiration to all who are less fortunate than ourselves. Let’s play the glad game throughout this New Year, always giving thanks to God for all He has done, is doing, and will do in us, as we seek to do His will. Amen.’
