Finally, the April Newsletter 2026 at the beginning of May!
Glad to say that my latest watercolour painting, ‘Impression of Portmerion, Snowdonia #2’, completed on the last day of April, is now in the gallery of paintings.
Please remember to double click on the images to see more individual information regarding all the paintings in the gallery.
It has certainly been a busy time on the run up to what is now officially Spring here in the UK. With a mixture of weather, I am happy to report that our small garden, both front and back is looking very colourful. As previously written, I have always been an avid gardener. It’s another form of activity that is very therapeutic.
Hopefully, as you read this you are all keeping well in these uncertain times. With my husband, David, I am maintaining a fitness routine each week. Staying healthy in later life is more important than ever, to be able to enjoy the abundant life our Saviour God promised. Even less mobile friends are keeping moving forward, a step at a time, daily. It’s the same with art, although sometimes it can be a step forward, two back before we go forward again. May we all keep moving forward into better things fulfilling the plan and purpose given by Jesus’ sacrifice for us.
Speaking of better things. Many better artists than me are showing their watercolours, this month, in what is billed as the largest watercolour show to see Master Watercolourists work, meet and join in plein air workshops, see amazing demonstrations and enjoy the lovely grounds and atmosphere of Lillieshall Hall/village and Gardens, Shropshire. Please check out the IWM link, in the list of links, for more information of the schedule and to buy necessary admission tickets.
Thank you everyone. David and Sandra sending love and hugs.
