March Newsletter 2026 - Life's Battles!

Friends, ‘Are you finding life difficult?’ If so, be assured we are not alone in this world.

If we were to talk to any artist they would be able to speak easily of the hard times and experiences, they have needed to overcome, before being confident to say that their work is successful and they are somewhat happy with the outcome. We are all our worst critic. One of my late mum’s sayings, ‘Rome was not built in a day’ is true.

Everything worth doing in life takes a lot of preparation, time, dedication, discipline, wisdom and knowledge, and above all, patient endurance. Of course, correct resources and tools help enormously. As a hobbyist many times things seem difficult being bombarded with professionals who because they need to make a living, are all on the look out for ways to attract us to find the latest thing we must do to succeed. It is understandable; however, we cannot always oblige them.

I am so thankful for all the people who have impacted my life this far, and yet, I consider only one a faithful mentor. That person knows who they are.

Our Bible meditation this morning was talking about fighting battles, however, ultimately God is in control, we can trust and pray, as the Don Moen song goes something like this, ‘He will always make a way where there seems to be no way, He works in ways we cannot see, He will make a way for me. He will be my guide, hold me closely to His side, with love and care for each new day………’

Friends, I trust you too will have faith in our Saviour God today – Faith, it is God given.

In case life continues to be busy before I am able write April’s Newsletter, I pray for you all to have and enjoy a really blessed and wonderful Easter. Please pray for me to find the time to paint without life getting in the way. Thank you, blessings always, Sandra.
